What we collect
Reading this site requires no account, no login and no personal detail from you. Like every website, the host that delivers these pages processes the technical data your browser sends with each request — IP address, user agent, page requested, timestamp — to serve the page and block abuse. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you. The only thing you can hand us on purpose is your email address, and only if you type it into a signup form here.
Who you are dealing with
The publisher of Brushbible is the controller of whatever personal data this site processes, and there is no parent company behind it. The site runs without accounts, logins or a comment system, which is why the list below is as short as it is. Requests about your data go through contact page.
If you hand us your address it is because you asked for something — a guide or the newsletter — and it is used for that and nothing else. We do not sell it or rent it. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately, and leaving takes one click, no reason required.
About cookies
Cookies here are limited to what the site needs in order to function. Nothing is set for advertising, and nothing follows you onto other sites.
Processors, transfers and how long we keep things
Hosting, payments and email are run by third-party providers acting on our instructions and nothing more. That can mean data crossing a border, covered by standard contractual clauses. Email addresses stay until you leave the list; order records stay as long as the tax rules say and no longer.
How is this site paid for?
Partly through affiliate links. When a link points to a retailer or a service and you buy something after clicking it, we may receive a commission — the price you pay is the same either way. We decide what to cover and what to recommend before anyone pays us anything.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it — write to us and we do it. If you are in the EU or the UK, that is the GDPR; if you are in California, the CCPA gives you the same practical rights, including the right not to have personal information sold. We do not sell it to anyone.
Under-16s
Nothing here is aimed at children, and we knowingly collect no data from anyone under 16. If a child has sent us data anyway, say so through contact page and it goes.
Changes to this policy
When the way we handle data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. There is no announcement list, so the date is the record.
